Pierre Ripoll

Pierre has no scientific namesake, he is indeed an actor and engineer, as a quick Google search indicates. Willingly defining himself as « obsessive », he is a role play enthusiast both in the city and on stage. With his theater company la gueuse, Pierre runs the risk of lying on stage.

Pierre Ripoll began acting in Marseille before pursuing scientific studies in Lyon. During this period, he directed two on-stage writing projects in 2018 and 2019. In 2020, he joined the Preparatory Cycle for Higher Education at the Conservatoire de Lyon, where he learnt from Magali Bonnat, Laurent Ziserman and Anne Rauturier.
In 2021, he joined The Manufacture in Lausanne. He worked with Valérie Dréville, Emilie Chariot, Lilo Baur, Mohamed El Khatib, Jean-Yves Ruf, Oscar Gomez Mata, Olivier Neveux, Anne Pelois and Ilya Kozin, among others. In 2024, he performed at the Festival d’Avignon in Avignon, une école, under the direction of Fanny de Chaillé.
He is the co-founder of the company La Gueuse along with Kenza Zourdani and Dylan Poletti, and whose first production is to be performed in Geneva in the fall of 2026. He will reunite with Fanny de Chaillé for her new production Untrasensibles (for the season of 26/27).
